I spent the day at a stained glass class, and it was such a rewarding experience! Here’s a quick look at how I built my 8-point star:
- Foil and Burnish: I learned how to foil and burnish!

- The “Jig” Setup: Using a corkboard and pushpins, I locked the copper-foiled pieces into place. This kept the star symmetrical while I prepped for the soldering iron.

- The Finished Piece: After soldering the seams and adding a hanging loop, the star was complete. I love how the textured glass plays with the light.

It was a lesson in patience and precision, but seeing it all come together was worth every minute.
