The Unfinished Masterpiece!

For several months, I’ve been engrossed in crafting a new artistic endeavor. Until it reaches a state of absolute perfection, I’ve resisted sharing even a glimpse of it with the world. The piece has undergone numerous revisions and reincarnations, and I’m convinced that it possesses the potential for greatness. Yet, certain minute details continue to elude my desired vision. While I could certainly produce a less refined version, my aspiration is to create something truly extraordinary.

Driven by an intuition, I decided to exhibit a smaller piece alongside a larger, unfinished work at a recent show. Despite its imperfections, the larger piece garnered an overwhelmingly positive response. Countless individuals expressed their admiration, and many were moved to touch it. Remarkably, everyone seemed to instantly comprehend its meaning.

One woman, in particular, purchased the piece, declaring that its imperfections were precisely what made it perfect. Her words, coupled with the profound emotions I felt, led me to believe that perhaps I had created this artwork specifically for her. We engaged in a delightful conversation about how she envisioned displaying it in her home.
The experience has left me eager to embark on another artistic venture. Perhaps, next time, I’ll be a bit more forgiving of imperfections and allow the creative process to flow more freely.

Many blessings to the woman who bought it!  You know who you are!
