Why

A customer challenged me with a 12-inch purple giraffe, then downsized to 8 inches. My kiln, however, is just shy of 8 inches! This was uncharted territory for me – no giraffes, nothing over 3 inches tall, and just a handful of figurines under my belt. But instead of feeling discouraged, I was energized by the possibilities! I’d been wanting to delve into a new subject, and while sea turtles didn’t quite spark joy, giraffes felt perfect – fun and full of creative potential.
