My name is Melissa Stone, and my relationship with glass is… complicated. We first met in 2010, and at the time, I didn’t think we were a match. But some passions have a way of circling back.
In 2018, while looking for a way to stay home and raise my daughter, I picked up the torch again. This time, everything clicked. What started as a small project quickly grew into a full-scale studio—multiple kilns, various torches, and a deep dive into the endless possibilities of the medium. While life eventually pulled me back into the traditional workforce, my studio remains my sanctuary. I continue to explore diverse glass types and techniques, creating unique pieces that balance technical precision with the joy of the craft.
They take a bit of a tumble when they enter the world! Since momma giraffes give birth standing up, their calves fall about 6 feet (1.8 meters) to the ground. But don’t worry, they’re tough little things and can usually stand up within an hour of being born! Music: Glory Of A SultanMusician: GvidonURL: https://pixabay.com/music/-glory-of-a-sultan-16187/
